RapidShare is way too complicated and messes around with their clients. It is limited in many ways and has now reduced the download speed for free users to 30 Kbit/s – equal to nothing. And if the download stops you have to begin again. Not at all client and user oriented, they just want to make the big buck quickly…
Same is Uploaded.to, as you find no clear information before you sign up for a premium account. Then you find out that it is limited and gives you 10GB/day until you reach 100GB/month and then you get busted. Not at all client and user oriented either, another (german) crooks trying to make the big buck quickly…
The best and unlimited service right now for someone who is willing to pay 10 Euro per month seems to be Netload.in. Unlimited and always had a client oriented approach also for free users.
But this landscape will change quickly these days. Too many have their pants full when they hear something about FBI and so on…

Myeah, I also heard about that 30 kbit limit for download speed that Rapidshare set up after this whole megaupload mess. It’s a shame though since it was a pretty good alternative to megaupload sharing, guess that drops it to the bottom of the list with megaupload alternatives.

Oh, since we’re on that matter I also heard some news on a new audials anywhere program that’s supposed to be a pretty good alternative to megaupload and filesharing.

For the moment seems I can’t find any specific info on this new audials anywhere sharing thing so I was wondering if anyone else heard anything about it?

meh, I don’t have too much patience if the download speed is so low. I started using audials anywhere just a coupld of days ago actually. it’s a soft, it’s free if you use audials light and it basically works as an alternative to p2p. if i send an invite, i can share my files with another person, browse through theirs and download what i like -> http://www.personalmediacloud.com is where you can find it; i think it’s pretty cool and it’s a much more reliable alternative to file sharing than using an online platform I think. Clouds ain’t bad either (i am also using dropbpx) but this thing is better.

The best megaupload alternative is ultramegabit.com You don’t have to signup to use the site. You can upload upto a 1gig file as a guest. Your files last 180 days since last accessed. There is parallel downloading, no wait times, no speed limitations, and best of all, no premium paid service to use the site!

Check it out
