What did not make it to the Mozilla Firefox as the legitimate heir to the once-mighty Netscape Navigator was able to reach Google’s Chrome: The methods to be displaced by unfair pushed to the forefront of Microsoft Internet Explorer just this.
Since last week, according to the Webstatistiker by StatCounter, with a share of just over a third of the most widely used browser on earth (picture above). Firefox overtook the sleek, fast, on the open source Webkit-building Chrome already early winter last year. Apple’s Safari, probably because of the increasing popularity of Apple products, just exceeded the 7 percent mark, the Norwegian Opera remains a niche product with 1.8% for specialists.
In Germany, the way things look quite different (see figure below). Also according to StatCounter figures here every second surfing with Firefox, IE and 23% de with 16% of Chrome, Safari 6, Opera 3.5 percent.
