One thing we always talk about and that is a recurring theme in regards to smartphones is the battery. That one piece that although the terminals are evolving, still lagging behind. Expand capacity, but not enough. And in the end always renqueamos of the same, we ran out of battery too fast.
Although not a thing unique and exclusive design phone, because here the applications also have their share of blame. Sometimes a good design and attention to optimizing the application can work wonders. For that Google has decided to intervene in the matter and created a practical guide for developers. Google will teach how to save power in your applications.
According to applications that we use seems to drain the battery in minutes. Especially those that make use of a fairly continuous connection, the GPS, etc.. And the battery is the most precious of our phone, especially if we walk away. So Google wants to make a special effort for developers to create applications that are fully optimized to avoid waste of battery. A proposal that would raise the quality of applications and hence the Android ecosystem.
There are specific lessons for optimizing downloads either as normal as in circumstances of limited connection, minimize the negative impact to our battery when our regularly updated implementation and optimization of redundant downloads. Classes that will be particularly helpful for all developers who want to create an application that is not a drag on the battery. Using little tricks and tips can bring about major changes.
A very interesting strategy by Google to raise the bar a bit applications and somehow avoid one of the biggest complaints of users of smartphones in general, excessive consumption of battery. There is still much room for improvement, since the ads are also part to blame for the drop in battery . We hope that developers will be encouraged and take note of this short course.
You can find it in the official Android developers at Google.
