I was in the “ink” the review of this team that I tested for a week, the Sony Xperia Play.Android phone is basically a cross with a Play Station 2. The result is quite good and fun.
The Sony Ericsson Xperia Play is a hybrid phone and Play Station. At first Android phone is a nice design and some “fat”, but simply put it in a horizontal position and slide the bottom of the equipment to us for a classic joystick with buttons of PlayStation consoles. This action also automatically launch the application with preloaded games on the computer. Since there is only a matter of fun.
The first feeling I had is that the joystick is not very comfortable, especially the L and R shoulder buttons, but after a few hours of playing, this detail was forgotten. The computer hardware is good enough to run all games smoothly, the screen is not spectacular but it’s good to not feel the time we stuck to it, and details of similar pads as an alternative to Directional arrows of motion is excellent.
With the computer’s operating system comes pre-loaded two basic applications: Xperia Play, through which you can navigate through the AndroidMarket to find games compatible with the controls / buttons on this team, and PlayStation Pocket, the application that automatically loads when Slide the joystick and where to store all the games that you download.
The team also has other basic features such as camera and others can be found in any other phone, but this team stand out as being for gaming addicts, and does its job perfectly.
